La rumba Barista 2023 Bogota

La Rumba is a brand new project brought to you by The Barista League specially for the 2022 Mystery Coffee Vacation – our prize trip for all of the 2022 winning teams. La Rumba is built on the success of The Barista League but tweaked and tailored to be a little bit extra Colombian with new competition rounds, collaboration between our international winners and the local teams.

La Rumba is a barista competition – just not like one you’ve ever seen before. 12 teams of two will be paired up with baristas joining us from all over the world on our Mystery Coffee Vacation for three fast-paced and interdisciplinary rounds of coffee competition.

You don’t need to train or bring any equipment with you – just a partner. Closer to the event, your team will be matched with two international baristas from our Mystery Coffee Vacation who will join your team for the evening. The competition is totally free and created for all coffee people – from brand new baristas to world champions.
